Sure that some of you on Travel Talk were either sitting in a massive traffic jam yesterday or heard about it. It took me 1 hour to get from Simpson Bay Resort to the airport. Does anyone have any info as to what happened to cause this horrendous traffic situation? Thanks

There were five cruise ships in yesterday. That usually has an impact, depending upon the time of day you were trying to get to the airport. It took me an hour from the airport to reach the HVC Royal Palm Resort when I arrived three weeks ago in the late afternoon. Between the cruise ships and the bridge openings, it isn't unheard of these days.

I doubt very much even if there was better signage would help at the Airport road/Causeway roundabout would help the horrific jam ups at night!!! We've had to turn around on our dinner plans on Welfare road!! Head back to Maho village or Jordan village!!
Sand Gravity, got to love it!
