I'll start of by saying I am very fussy about burgers and pizza..I only want the best when I have them occasionally. That said...I just had a cheeseburger and fries for lunch at "Gene's" at Manuel Reef Marina, Sea Cow's Bay and it was outstanding. Lets hear votes for other favorites..

We just got back today and I had more than my fair share of cheeseburgers. Although some may disagree, I think Corsairs' burgers are amazing. We stopped in at Corsairs on Wednesday, but it was closed until Friday because Vinnie was at the dentist. I had a burger at Ali Baba's instead and it was quite good. We had never been to Peter Island on our prior charters so we picked up a mooring ball at Deadman's Bay and tried the Drake Steak House. The cheeseburger there was amazing, but the prices were not surprisingly on the high side.

Always enjoyed the cheeseburger at Hendos...

Think my cut off price for a good cheeseburger is $20.
One of my all time favorites when I lived in Venice Beach, Southern California was "Hinano's" down by Venice Pier. It was claimed to be a favorite of Jim Morrison of "The Doors" who lived there..fabulous, cooked on a hotplate behind the bar (which hadnt been cleaned since the 50's)by the barstaff and served with a side of jalepenos and Lay's chips...the best.
I still miss "Stanleys" on CGB (favorite of Jimmy B)but "Stout's Lookout" overlooking CGB is pretty good too..And a definite vote for "Tramonti" ,"The Sugar Mill" beach bar for a good cheesebuger for $18 with a side of fabulous fries and a billion$ view.

Best cheeseburger that I know of is Bell's at Cow Wreck, followed closely by Shaka's in CGB. Shaka has the place still under construction across from Myett's where the road goes back to the Elm. He only does burgers, but they are great.

My favorite on VG has long been the burger from the food truck 'Good Vibes'. Located directly across from the Government building.

Maybe not the most appealing spot for tourists from a view perspective. But they make a darn good burger.

Where exactly is the Government building? Is Good Vibes
“More” than just a truck? Does it have seating? Covered?

The Government building is on Millionaire Street, just down the road from Bay 6 bodega across from the VGYH shopping center. You will find Good Vibes there.

It is a bit more than just a truck, permanent location. They do have seating which consists of two picnic tables with umbrellas.

Tipsy’s in anagada

Just had a good one at Big Bamboo on Anegada..and this is weird to me..but good steak fajitas at the Anegada Beach Club..and we have really good ones in California ( I know they came from Austin, Texas and I had them there too)

Mal needs to improve his diet. Here we're eating homegrown arugula and tomatoes and living our best life. Now if we could only catch the damn feral goats.....

Only about one a week!

Back to best..."Gene's" at Manuel Reef in Sea Cow's Bay now may be my all time favorite..a terrific homemade patty, really melted cheese and her killer fries..all for $16..

I gotta go with Duckfat, Cow Wreck has a great cheeseburger. Tipsy's does as well. But it is HUGE!

Bitter End has a nice burger. Not huge, price is $38. That may have included fries, don't recall.

Scrub has a terrific burger, but only at lunch. Price is $20; sides are extra.

Not a fan of a $38 burger..unless they replace the meat with decent caviar! I can get steak frites at Sonoma's "Girl and the Fig" for less than that. I think anything over $20 is seriously pushing it IMHO...even down here..

And I just realized I misspoke: the Marina Cay burger is $20 and only at lunch.

This is funny..I just had a really good cheeseburger, fresh potato salad two Presidentes and a bottle of water at "Patricia's" on Smugglers Cove for $21. I stopped at Long Bay on the way home to Little Apple Bay and watched the barfolk ordering $35 burgers which did not put "Patricias" to shame!

Love Gene's! It's become our first night dinner when we have a sleep aboard. Great hospitality, food and atmosphere. Love her braised lamb shank and the absolute best dark n stormy in the islands!
