Can someone tell me how I go from Jet Blue flight to my Cape Air flight in San Juan without exiting terminal? We have carryon. Do we need to check in for Cape Air at their front terminal or can we go directly to their gate? We are on separate tickets. Thanks!

You can go to the gate without exiting the airport. Just follow the signs. It is a bit of a hike.
Go Irish!!

If you are on Separate tickets you need to attempt to get JetBlue to check the bags all the way through to EIS. They may or may not be willing to do this. I suspect they probably will not but I would try. If they are not checked through you will need to claim the bags at baggage claim and then go to the CapeAir ticket counter to recheck the bags. After that back through security. I would allow 2 hours for that. If however they check the bags straight through to EIS simply walk to the CapeAir gate and your good to go.

GeorgeC1 - OP says they only have carryon so no need tp worry about having luggage checked through to final destination. They can simply deplane from their Jet Blue flight which will arrive in Terminal (Concourse) C and follow the overhead signs to the departure gate for their Cape Air flight which will be in Terminal (Concourse) D. They will not have to leave the secure area. It should be less than a 10 minute walk between gates.
