I assume you mean at a restaurant vs. at a market.

If that is the case, we have always liked Skipjacks in Simpson Bay and Big Fish in Oyster Pond.

Try this new resto, BlueFin at Cupecoy near the Atlantis Casino! Fresh lobsters and local fish! Nice place with excellent food and service!

I have always liked the seafood at Skipjacks. In fact, we just arrived for our three month stay and we had our first lunch there. Serendipitously, we met Betty from the Horny Toad Guesthouse there. She's been here even longer than us, so that's a good recommendation.

Skipjacks has a fish market, so you know they get the freshest fish. They do simple preparations, frequently with a sauce of your choice on the side, letting the flavor of the fish have center stage.

Regular seafood, probably Skipjack's has the best. With regard to lobster in particular, lots of places seemed to have pretty good prices during our just completed trip--around $19 a pound several places.

My mahi-mahi with a creole sauce was devastating at Alexander's next to the Flamingo. Inexpensive... low key and laid back.... and so so tasty. http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserRevie...in.html#REVIEWS

From the pictures - it looks like the old Montmartre location. Is that where this is? I also read that La Gondola is now closed. Has anything opened up in that location?

Nothing at LaGondola as of the last week of December, sign for LAgondola still there, but not open, I don't think.

Bluefin is right beside La Gondola ( La Gondola was still open in november...)and right in front Basilico. It is located in the Atlantis Casino Complex. It has a nice terrace.

Hard to beat Lees for consistantly good fresh grilled snapper and lobster fresh out of the tank.
