Our group of 6 are going for dinner. Where is parking or shuttle that is allowed for there?

At the entrance to Carrefour parking lot there is an ATM booth on the left just before the parking lot, that's where the shuttle parks. We parked in the Carrefour lot close to the ATM.

I would take the shuttle for the cost of the tip.
The road up the hill is quite steep and even steeper on the way down after a few drinks.
Maybe one of the best restaurant views on the island
Food was good but expensive
We had a severe service issue and will never return, we received a wrong sushi roll which they left on the table, we sampled and asked for the remainder of all our food to be boxed and they wanted to charge us for the wrong roll.
Back home they would apologize and tell customer to enjoy it complimentary since once served to a table, it is not able to be reserved
Waiter argued with us until manager finally took off bill
Ruined a wonderful evening, the waiter was from a western European country and while pleasant during meal became combative

I have never been there and am hesitant due to other mentions of service issues.

We called ahead, they had the shuttle van waiting for us!! Very convenient!!!

It's been 3 1/2 years since we have been to SXM. Is the the Bamboo House new?? This is the first I have herd of it (but I'm not an island expert). Thanks

I’m afraid that the Bamboo House is resting on its initial praise and its view. I have been 3 times, and the last will be my last. Great time the first two, with food and service. The last one we brought 9 people for a birthday celebration, and it was way below par. Food had to be sent back, orders mixed up and that was when we were acknowledged! (Bill came to over $900.) We had a 6:30 reservation, so we could see the sunset. Arrived at 6 with intentions of going to the bar before dinner. Was told it was a good thing we came early because they needed our table for an another reservation at 7:45! Way to start a rather expensive meal!
Great location, but just go for a drink…..if you can get the bartenders attention!
