We are heading there next week and my husband loves to fish. Are there any good spots to do some shore fishing? He will be bringing his gear. We will also have a rental car so we can go anywhere on the island.
Thanks for your help!

You can consider checking out Simpson Bay. There are some areas there that are quite suitable for shore fishing.

We watched locals fishing off the rocks at Plum Bay on one of our trips.

The boat dock just below the Simpson Bay drawbridge next to the police station. At night you can try to entice the dozens of big tarpon that hang out under the bridge in the current waiting for a meal to swim by.

I have frequently seen people fishing the lagoon opposite the end of the runway.
