Hi All - We are on island and looking for a good location to watch NFL playoff game (specifically Saturday night). Does anyone on island have suggestions?

Some of it depends on where you are staying, but Dinghy Dock in Simpson Bay is one good option. They also serve craft beer which is a plus.

Actually I like Detroit a lot and I figure they will probably whup my Commanders, but it is fun to have Washington in the playoffs for the first time in a LONG time.

As CaribLee says, it depends on where you're staying. On the French side, I have no idea. Mary's Boon has often had a big screen on the beach, which would be cool. You could check with them. There is also Replay Sports Bar at Simpson Bay Resort.

Yellow Sub in Orient has every sporting event known to man I think, the owner or bar manager has the super sports package, they even had the RedZone for NFL! Wild stuff.

Hi Carole….lol - thanks for the kind words about the Lions. In my lifetime they’ve never won / last year was a heartbreaking loss. Soooo - it will be our honor to host Washington but hopefully win. 😊

The new “D’s on the Beach” has TV’s but we’ve been here for four days and so far they’ve not been working/turned off. I’ll ask them later today. Would be nice to just walk over and relax there but they close early. If not Dinghy Dock might be the spot.

cathy--If the Commanders lose, I will definitely be rooting for Detroit, unless they play KC in the Super Bowl. I wouldn't mind seeing that matchup at all, as I like both teams. I just hope the NFC rep is not the Iggles!!!!

Dinghy Dock is doing something different now for Super Bowl. Reservation only and I think bar seating at a price and not sure what it includes. May need to check with them. I think it’s been word of mouth and may be sold out at this point!!

I heard Lionel Ritchie is rejoining the Commodores so maybe they have a chance.

In all honestly I am also hoping for the Commanders to win as the E-A-G-L-E-S certainly would romp over the Commodores easily while Detroit would be a very though match up

My understanding is that the 'chair owners' at Dinghy Dock get first call on their chairs. Seth usually contacts the owners to see if they want their chair.

One Pride, not overlooking Wash, but this is just the next step. I'll be representing on the island all the way to the SB.
