Tonight we are going to milsa restaurant located near atrium. Is is new and wasn't here in June. This is where the Bavaria German restaurant used to be. I spoke with the owner couple of hours ago and I have high expectations

I hope it works out. There has been at least one and I think two failed attempts to make something go there since Bavaria closed.

Not what I was expecting. They have a fix menu $55 for 7+ meats on swords. Some were good, some just ok, some raw like chicken. We ordered 2 cocktails and because they didn't have the ingredients they brought the cocktails almost at the end of the dinner. The owner was there as well this time ignoring us completely. There was another couple having dinner. That's is. 2 couples in full season. I don't think they will last too long.

Do they come around table to table with different meats on a sword and serve off the sword or do each patron get a single sword with a mix of the different meats?

Yes, one type of meat on the sword every 4-5 minutes.

Sounds like a Brazilian churrascaria, similar to Fogo de Chao. Except Fogo doesn't offer chicken tartar....
Anyway, for those who don't know, at Fogo, you get a chip, one side green, the other side red. If you want meat, you turn up green. And the gauchos come by with meat on a long spit and say, "roast duck," or "lamb,: or "beef tenderloin," or "sausage," whatever he has. If want that item, say, "yes," or point to your plate, and you'll get some. Or say "no," and wait for what you want. If the gaucho sees a red chip, you get left alone.
Expensive, and not for everybody. But a fun place to try different things. Pro-tip: Skip lunch that day...

Fogo is in major cities and metro areas/towns with a lot of business and tradeshow/convention travelers. I once took about 10 people there for a business dinner. And the salad bar is ENORMOUS. Huge. I recommend it. Also good for a fun family dinner. If you have the means... WEBSITE

There hopes are to fill you up with the lower cost salad bar so you don't have as much room for the higher costing protein.

Quite a disappointment, especially after the hype the owner provided. They will likely be history soon.

Is there really a market for people wanting a Brazilian all you can eat place on SXM? Good luck to the owner 🤷♂️

Sounds like a place I will NOT add to my already full list. AHA SXM too many beaches too many good restaurants and not enough days staying.

i agree with Scuba. Was looking forward to trying a Brazilian Churiscaria experience on SXM. But, after hearing these reviews, for 55 bucks, i think i will spend somewhere else for a ''sure thing''. A good well run place with this concept would do GREAT on the island. Too bad this one sounds so iffy.
