Supposedly the ATL-SXM will depart at 12:21. Then take us to JFk! Fingers crossed right now delay SXM-JFK until 6:30 from 4:46. We shall see. Hanging at D’s waiting!
Looks like the SXM bound Delta flight is boarding now, and then scheduled to fly back out this evening around 9:30 to JFK. Sounds like a very long day.
I have friends on the Delta Atlanta flight. It did not leave last night. It was scheduled for Saturday morning at 8 AM. But is delayed again. Delta flight 9911
We were supposed to connect through ATL on Delta today, however they suggested that we fly to MSP last night to avoid the ATL problem and then direct to SXM today. At three thirty this mornig we received a text stating no plane available at MSP. So now they have us waiting until tomorrow and then flying us to JFK arriving at eleven pm and then leaving at 7am for SXM Monday morning. No answer on what the plane situation was.
So glad I rebooked on JetBlue. We should get out tonight. About 90 minutes late. But in our seats waiting for the doors to close. Who knows how long it will take to depart! Super easy clearing and security no bag to check. Lounge was nice (priority pass). But….the dreaded B gates!!!! Chaotic is an understatement.
