This got to be one hell of a friend...to buy out the restaurant during the busy season for five days straight!! Obviously this friend has plenty of $$$$$ just hanging around. LOL Wonder if we will be having some ''celebrity sightings'' this coming week on the island. Can't wait to hear this week.

Had a fabulous meal at Roma and they overheard us talking about my birthday yesterday and came out with shots and dessert! Always a great meal there. Yes they are closed. Sounds like a friend of the owner has rented the place. Staff is on vacation and the friend is bringing in his own people and food for the week. Maybe for a Jewish celebration as the food needs to be kosher. Didn’t ask much else.

Exactly what i read on another site. They are coming in for a Bar Mitzvah, with a lot of people. They will have the kitchen made Kosher, and bring in all kosher foods and their own staff. Sounds like they are mostly renting the kitchen, and will have all the meals for the time on island at their own ''Kosher" restaurant.

Yes. Only issue and not sure if there is truth to this / the container with their food has not arrived!!! Hope I’m wrong!!! Waves are crazy today. As is traffic!! Surfing at Mullet and Cupecoy.

me and my staff have been pushing so hard during the last weeks, it was unbelievably busy, stressful, tiring and intense, we truly loved it!
The amount of people we pleased is humongous.
However a few days to rest, catching up with our partners and children after having neglected them throughout the holidays is just a once in a lifetime blessing.

Super U in Hope Estate did not get their shipment in Sunday or whatever, so lots of stuff missing (produce/yogurts/fresh items). Arriving Wednesday, most likely the same issue for "container".
School is back in session so traffic is apparently back (was warned Sunday), walking to Orient Beach isn't much traffic though!
