I plan on cooking an all out dinner in August and fresh shaved black truffles may impress our Italian guests since they don't live far from Alba where truffles come from.

There is also a store directly across from Bacchus (Hope Estate) which carries some amazing stuff, think is related.

Also, they have lots of vegetarian goods.

It’s a great store, compact but all high quality products. Sometimes produce is barren but it’s due to when it arrives.

Their cherry tomatoes from France are really worth stopping in for, simply delicious.

coincidentally, this pic was taken a couple of days ago in a Monoprix on SBH because i was surprised at the high $ wine sold in a normal grocery store…you drop it you buy it

Yes, although they have a security guy who can lock the door in SXM, that’s life. Even the super U in SBH has 500€+ in their wine cellar just sitting around!

actually my handler reminded me the pic i took of the 4,599€ bottle was from the Super U near SBH airport…no lock on the sliding door, so can probably just grab it and do self checkout

Like Monoprix. We’ve purchased a couple of boxes of oysters as well as some racks of lamb. Prices were good. Also got oysters at the store across from Bacchus.
