Today, we went up to Cupecoy for the Sunday "Jazz" Brunch. And yes, after being there many times and the food is OK to good, and the songs may be the same again and again, it is still an enjoyable 3 hours on a Sunday afternoon. And yes, Scubaman, that is American cheese on my burger. We call it Kraft cheese slices in Canada and at home I would never use that, and prefer mozzarella, cheddar or brie. But the burger was real beef not a patty and had a good flavor. My wife had Chicken Pesto Panini with mozzarella. We got to say hi to WendyK ( TTOL member) and had a little chat. If you want to go, reservations for a table are a must. On our way home we encountered a few Santa Scooters.
Still can't understand why they think a good burger needs that chemical infused single slice Kraft American cheese when so many good cheese options are available to offer. Looks like you had a good time being sung too.👍😉👍
Thanks for posting. The food at Rendezvous is definitely underwhelming. However during the summer, they are usually the only place open for lunch there.
The food at Rendezvous is what it is. I think hearing a bit ''underwhelming'', may be a bit harsh for what it is. I don't think anyone goes there on a Sunday for the food....it's all about the music!! Personally, i have had a couple of burgers there, and a couple of other things which escape me now, and found it pretty good. Still, hands down, one of the most fun ways to spend a Sunday afternoon, out of the hot sun, and the entertainment can't be beat!!!!!
I can't say anything about the food because I always order a drink that I think is called cafe galounce.(SP?) It's cold espresso with chocolate syrup and coffee ice cream and whipped cream top. I think the calories make up a decent lunch.
Whaletail, I hope our visit lines up with yours in March and we can get there.
