I have very much enjoyed our time here and I am very impressed with the room, location and staff. Elliott the manager gave me the history of how the owner started here 30 some years ago he had quite the vision. His house above the hotel was the 2nd place built in Cul de sac hill and also serves as a storage location for the Karibuni restaurant on Pinel. The hotel has 3 what I would call a duplex type units each with 2 rooms. The hotel is adults only but he also owns 2 villas close by for families. Included in stay are breakfast and beach chairs and private transportation to Pinel. Every room has a kitchen and very large outdoor space 4 rooms have private plunge pools and 2 room share a small pool. Very modern , spacious comfortable and clean. I would also say it caters to a younger type of traveler as my wife and I are definitely the older couple here now. We are early 60s. The breeze and shade on deck is wonderful which has table and chairs 2 loungers and hammock. The cul de dac community is also gated which the gate is open during the day and you have a code for the evening when it is closed. The only time I have seen other people here is when we take the boat over to pinel they provide 2 times to go 9:30 and 11am. You can return at your own time just let restaurant staff know. After 3 straight days at Pinel took a break today and enjoyed the deck and if your like me and walk everyday there are some nice trails to walk just have go about 1 mile to reach them. I would definitely come back here for sure. Takes less than 10 minutes to drive to Grand Case or Orient village with NO traffic. I also enjoyed staying at Cupecoy and both places have many positives but definitely much quieter here. Tomorrow we switch over to Bleu Emeraude
