EXPERIENCES, continued

Sails on No1SXM
My second sail was their half-day sail and was another relaxing experience, shared with SteveandAnn on this board. In honor of our sailing with them for fifteen years, Mirian had sun shirts made for Ann and me in purple, with the No1SXM logo. Such a thoughtful gesture and much appreciated. I love sailing with them! More Endless Summer swimsuit modeling. FBBC appears to be closed on Tuesdays.

The third sail was another combination snorkeling/sunset sail from 2:30 p.m. til 6:30 p.m. We sail to Divi for snorkeling for the first two hours and then head back into the sunset for the second half of the sail. While in the Divi area, I saw the Celebrity Summit, which I will be on in January for my annual Jazz Cruise.

Thanksgiving at the Toad
Every year, the Toad BBQs turkeys and guests bring side dishes for a lovely dinner under the pavilion. My contributions were spinach balls and a Kahlua chocolate cake. Didn’t get pictures of the group, but it’s always a nice experience to eat, watching the sunset.

Cocktail party in Terres Basses
Friends held a sunset cocktail party at their villa in Terres Basses, and I was honored to be invited. The villa was lovely, with four bathrooms, each decorated with a different color of basin and tile. There should have been a green flash, but it didn’t happen.

Beach day at Mary’s Boon
Met Bill and Elaine for a beach day at Mary’s Boon; did not go in the water. Several chairs are in dire need of replacement.

Oh My Goddess!
This is a women’s apparel shop that features gauze clothing located in Hills Residence Shopping Center across from Pineapple Pete’s. I had intended to drop in just to say hello to Karla and her mom but should have known better. I found two outfits that look great: a lovely dress and a blouse/pants outfit. The owners are lovely, and their clothing is beautiful.

FOOD

Reveil Matin
This place has an extensive menu of breakfast items, most of which are pretty Keto unfriendly. Fortunately, I can make do.

French Touch
When going to downtown Philipsburg, I always try to stop at French Touch. This time I had their grilled chicken salad with avocado and mango. It was very tasty, but I thought the chicken was a little overcooked.

This is the second of five parts for the period November 14 – December 4.
