Day 5 - Tuesday

We always try to find a new place or two for dinner. Tried Pizza Italy. I know it has been there for some time but we had never been there. We shared an antipasto platter and meaty pizza. Both were excellent. Brought leftovers back to the room. Gambled a bit @ Hollywood. Went home with more than I brought. A good evening @ Blackjack. They even had a $5 table!!

Day 6 - Wednesday

Trip to D's Beach Bar. Almost empty when we got there. Attendant broke 2 umbrellas while trying to set us up. OOPS!!! The weather was beautiful for an hour or so & then the rain came. Short showers so we sheltered in the bar & had lunch. Wife had fish sandwich & fries. I had Boom Boom Shrimp & fries. Good choices and service. Chairs and umbrellas are free if you have lunch. The drizzle continued so we decided to go back to RP.

Dinner was at Smash Burger in Maho. Neat little place next to Mr. Chow. Big burgers. We go the combo of a drink, burger, & fries. Should have ordered ala carte. BIG Burgers. A little pricey but not much more than 5 Guys @ home. Gambled a bit @ Casino Royale. Walked off with their dollars in my pocket.

Glad you enjoyed Pizza Italy. We went there once and were not impressed. Sounds like two very successful evenings at gambling! Whenever I don't lose, I'm happy!

Sounds like you are a fan of a big burger. Next time try "The burger bar" next to Maho market!!! They have a "HH" and they have dining outside. They have this really cool 50's retro restaurant inside. Service is amazing!! IMHO the best burger on the island!! The drinks are really good and the milkshakes are delicious and in a big retro glass!! I've had the blue cheese, the classic and the beacon, choice of fries or onion rings, all home made!! at a really reasonable price!!! The view is great too, watch the planes and good people watching perch deck on high top tables!!!! https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552615028228
