Coming to sxm on Saturday. Successfully filled out the entry.sx on Saturday but United Airlines notified us the same form needs to be filled out 72 hours prior to travel, and, United has the same link to the same form on their website to do the form. Is this needed??

Please see the below link. According to the SXM tourism authorities, the form is actually NOT required to be filled out, but some airlines are saying that. But if you have filled out the form and have a printout of it, I wouldn't do anything else. Link

Spirit accepted my confirmation email last Friday as proof. They initially wanted a printed copy of the completed form.

It can't hurt to print it out, as the airlines are apparently still quite confused as to what is required.

And we flew AA last Thursday, and there was no mention of the form by anyone. We had completed it a few weeks prior to our flight, and it did seem to speed up the immigration process for us.

So apparently they still haven't gotten the word that it is NOT required.

They told Westjet that it IS REQUIRED, so they are doing their job.Why would SXM say it needs to be filled out and then say it is not required. If they are going to make a rule they need to follow it themselves. The purpose was to make entry faster, and those doing it when they arrive are holding up the lines for everyone else.

All I know is that the current guidance is that it is NOT required, and they have supposedly advised the airlines of same.

I did fill in the form online but still had to answer the questions again at the kiosk.
