"Official" reopening after 7+ years of bungled and delayed reconstruction. It has been open but with limited arrivals/departure/food/etc. facilities.

We left the island yesterday afternoon and saw them setting up for the ceremony. Here's a picture of some beautiful flowers there.

To our surprise and not in a good way, there was a line half way through the airport for the scanners to enter the up stairs. Where after taking EVERYTHING off you still had to scan your passport!!
