Belair recently sent out message to those planning a visit in November and December.
24 Units have AC. The rest only have portable AC in Main bedroom only. No hot water in entire resort. Possible fix by year end but no guarantees. A plan in place to install new chiller when it arrives that will restore AC and hot water for all but likely many will roll their weeks to 2025.

Tom, the place is pretty empty right now, I walked by there in the mornings , there may be a handful of cars in a lot. That’s about it..

From months ago the situation has not sounded good. We have heard lots of rumors that I won't repeat about what is going on but I thing its not going to get better soon if at all. Have a plan B all though high season.

They should’ve sold to Divi when they had the chance

No hot water in the entire resort? So, I assume their restaurant isn't open?

No guarantees on that. Some of the beach bars don't either.

Progress has been made with AC being restored to 24 apartments. The remainder of Belair will offer portable AC in main bedroom only which to some is acceptable. Hot water is currently relying on basic solar systyem which I understand is "tepid" at best. Restaurant is open. New equipment is said to be on order that will restore AC and hot water for entire resort but arrival and install dates are "projected" to be ASAP.
We are going in December for 2 weeks. We are hoping to have a merry Christmas and a good vacation.

I would agree. Potential disaster written all over it.

Like others, decisions made early this year including airline tickets, family schedules that we have chosen not to change and the memories we still have of the many years we really enjoyed Belair. There are other personal reasons that support our decision.

The time we stayed there in 99 we found the view great along with the master bedroom. Guest roon was very small and other couple was so miserable they opted for the sofa bed that wasn't much better comfort wise. Very small pool too. All in all it made us take a tour at Flamingo and buy.

OK, I wish you well, but the situation sounds miserable to me.
