We will be down for New Years spending about 10 days on a 65' M/Y. We are wondering whether we should spend more time at Bitter End Yacht Club, Scrub Island Resort & Marina or Peter Island. We also have a night at Saba Rock.

Would be interested in any input on where to spend more time - which Marinas offer more things to do on land as far as pools, dining and drink options, beach, locker room and laundry facilities? Also, proximity for day trips.

Thanks!

BEYC
You have access to all the North Sound:
BEYC water sports
Saba Rock
Prickly Pear beach
Necker Is (snorkeling)
Leverick Bay (water taxi) which gives you:
Levering Bay pool, great restaurant, laundry, watersports
and from there via taxi
The Baths
Top of the Baths
Coco Maya
Etc

Also, you'll be hunkered down for a few days at some point due to weather. No better place than North Sound. The water off BEYC is flatter.

You should consider a stop at Hog Heaven. Great views! A short drive from Leverick Bay.

Def agree with BEYC and North Sound. I would hope a 65' yacht would have a tender large enough to get you over to Leverick or Gun Creek if you want to catch a taxi to Spanishtown. If not, there are water taxis available - just be sure you have an arrangement to get back to BEYC at the end of the day. We got stranded once years ago.

BEYC has a ferry to Gun Creek. I think it runs once an hour or something like that with a possible gap midday for a lunch break.

If you are catching the BEYC ferry to Gun Creek to take a cab to dinner at CocoMaya, just make sure you double check what time the last ferry back from Gun Creek to BEYC is!

If you want to stay out late at CocoMaya, the best way to do that is get a dock slip at Leverick Bay.
