Vacations offer a much-needed escape from daily routines. With just the two of us for the remainder of our vacation there’s no need to abide by any time constraints.
The ocean in front of BSV was calm today. We spent a few relaxing hours reading, soaking up the sun, and enjoying some time in the water.
TTOLer jomarc walked over to say hello, and we had a pleasant conversation. It was great to meet her.
I had a craving for a Bloody Mary, and I remembered a menu item at the Yacht Club that had caught my eye earlier. The sesame-crusted tuna with wasabi, pickled ginger, and dipping sauce was simply perfect—rare, and full of flavor. It didn’t disappoint. Alongside that, we had fries, veggies and fish “fingers” for David, which ended up satisfying us so much that we didn’t even need dinner. The Yacht Club has become our version of “Cheers”—a spot where we can unwind with good food, cool breezes, and great conversation with staff and both “regulars” and newbies for a couple of hours.
By the time we got back to our place, we felt no urge to go anywhere else. It was the perfect end to a relaxing day.
I have never considered the Yacht Club for tuna but that looked fantastic. Will have o give it a go but the wasabi and pickled ginger will have to be gone.
That's the nice thing about having a longer vacation . You're not in a hurry to do anything but sit back and take it all in!! After a fantastic lunch, we moved to the bar to chat with Ana and the people at the bar. Real lazy afternoon!!! It was GREAT!!
