….and right about now we should be on a Jet Blue flight winging our way to our much loved Sint Maarten vacation at Beachside Villas - we almost made it this year. But that didn’t happen. It seems Mother Nature had another plan in mind for us.
So my open note to all who are there or soon come - have a wonderful time. You’re going to one of the best SXM retreats on the island (IMHO) and you’re about to spend your vacation with a really nice group of people and oh, how I wish we could have joined you all but now we wait for April.
So enjoy yourselves and as the opportunity arises, hoist a Caribbean cooler and think of those of us who wish we could join you. SALUT!!

So very sorry, dear Pat, that you and John can't make this trip. I know precisely how you feel as I had to cancel my June trip. It was painful. I feel for you and have my fingers crossed for April for you both.

We will miss you. You have become a part of our home at BSV and it won't be
the same without you both .
I hope we don't have to wait until April and can plan a date with you and Elaine after
Thanksgiving. (Hubbies too!!)

Thank you all for your sympathetic comments. I know there are worse thing in life than a change in vacation plans so we’ll get over it.
But please, know I wish each and every one of you a great trip! Enjoy your islon time because before you know it, it’s departure day.

Pat, we will certainly miss seeing you. Take care of yourself and John, we will try to behave and we will try to not let Kim be too bad of an influence on us. No promises there but we do promise to have a great trip!

Pat, as you know, we had to cancel for health reasons, too.
It's bittersweet as friends are returning to the island now and we will surely miss them.
I am hoping that we can live vicariously through their pictures and reports.
We are counting on returning next November!
In the meantime, I join you in wishing everyone a splendid and memorable trip....CHEERS!
