Hello all I have never been able to find a good detailed street map of SXM. Although we have been to sxm many times since 2005, it seems we stay away from Marigot area, as we usually end up going around in circles. Don't ask me why,,,but this time, I want to come prepared and somewhere get a copy of a real good map. Any suggestions where I can either buy one upon arrival, or find one online to print. either works for me. Thanks, as usual

The Kasprowski map is the most detailed printed map I've found. I purchased mine about a year or so ago at the airport gift shop they had exiting immigration. I have no idea where it's located these days, but you should be able to get one at the airport upon arrival. Locally, I use maps.me for navigation.

Yes, that's the quintessential map of SXM. I am pretty sure you can get it online.

Midok St Martin mapThis is the Kasprowski map mentioned above, looks like it has detailed coverage of Marigot. I don't have the SXM map but do have the Dominica one and it is detailed and still easy to read. For digital my preference is: OsmAnd for Android (I download the maps so no worry about signal/data availability), I'm sure there are many others. Dave.

Years ago, I purchased the IGN ( Institute Geographique National ) map of St Martin. VERY detailed road map of the island. Can't remember where I brought it - I might have picked it up in France.

I just checked Amazon. The IGN map of St. Martin and St Barths is available, and it was updated in October of 2022. Bad news is that Amazon has the map priced at $28.49. Somebody has to be selling it for a lot less.

Honestly, I think the free maps one can get at the airport or at many of the resorts or other businesses would be good enough. Most will have a more detailed inset of the major areas (Philipsburg, Marigot, etc.) in addition to the entire island.

Kasprowski's map is great except most streets in SXM have no signage, however, if you have a driving companion they can manage map visually to tell you when to turn.

Hi there, and thanks, I will definitely take a look at airport. We are staying at Sol Y Mar, so I could ask IRE vacations if they have one as well.

Hello there I always have a driving companion, and a few others. Seems it's just easier for everyone if I drive It does help a lot to have someone tell you where to turn, another set of eyes is always good. Thanks!
