And they’ve supplied the filters in each unit we’ve had over all our trips.🙂🙂

Pat--I'm not sure whether BSV has supplied the filters, or just people leave them behind. We always take some down, but there always seems to be filters there. There is always salt and pepper and coffee filters.

I have always had filters on arrival. One time there was no salt and pepper but our maid asked if I needed it and she brought shakers to the unit. That was a very early trip and since then Smarthie has always put some in the kitchen for us if needed.

I always thought that the filters were left overs from the previous guests but didn’t know you could ask for salt/pepper

Coffee makers are very simple, just with ON/OFF switch, but do the job.

Hi, Snuba, Sorry we’ll be missing all the November peeps this year. John always enjoys plane watching with your spouse. Re the salt and pepper - I don’t think it’s automatically provided but upon request if they have extras and they usually do, they will get it for you.

oh, ok. So your reservation still on?
I did see loadshedding there for Beacon Hill for yesterday, I think.
Louise--how has the loadshedding been since you arrived?

Absolutely. 4 chairs per unit. They leave them out on the beach, but usually they move them up against the building.

I have been here at BSV now for 1 week. Have NOT lost electricity at all. I hope i didn't just jinx myself.
I have been staying here pretty much every year since 1997, at least 2 times a year, There was maybe 1 or 2 times there were no coffee filters were in the cabinet and 1 or 2 times there has been no salt and pepper. A quick run down to Maho Market solved that problem. I don't know if they're supposed to supply them or not, but it just wasn't worth the effort to make a "thing" over it, everything else is so perfect here and you won't find a better staff. As Pat said, Smarthie is the best. She has been taking care of our villa since the beginning. She is the best.

That is really good news at BSV, we will be there the 10th for two weeks and AC and internet are two of the must for us. Looking forward to staying there, have visited others there but not yet stayed.

About chairs, yes as someone else mentioned, there are 4 loungers in front of your unit, 2 loungers on the lainai along with a table and 4 chairs. Also, a lantern in the closet in case you lose power, a citronella candle for nites on the lanai, an in-room safe, beach towels,
The only thing I find missing is Shampoo so bring some.

HI Mike, nice to hear you are having a good time.
You are so right----Whatever you buy and leave for the next person, or the staff, is always appreciated. There is almost nothing that isn't already there------never a problem with fresh towels and someone to help when you have a question.
There is no place like BSV and hope to be there soon.
Are we missing you again??!!

Todd, there have been a few beach umbrellas, in the pool shed, in the past. Request possibly met, throw up another!

Todd--in general, do not depend on there being any umbrellas there. Best bet, if he is still doing it, is to contact Craig at Packlight. $10 a week, delivered right to BSV. Problem solved.

The beach umbrellas really need that sturdy screw for the sand. It will fly away, if you don't have the metal portion you see at the beaches. It's very hard to dig into the sand. We have tried many times.

We have had good luck with the umbrellas from Craig. But yes, you do need to be careful with umbrellas in general.
