What is the beach like today? Is there beach with sand or mostly rocks with not much room to spread out with chairs and an umbrella? Is it still OK to go nude? Thanks!

We were there yesterday. It was rocky to the right with enough room for Danny to set up our beach chairs. Little ocean pools to cool off in.
We were the only nudists there.
Lots of textiles on the left side of the beach with a rough surf.
Always a spectacular lunch with fresh grilled snapper!
Orient Beach today and was spectacular as usual!!

I thought nudity was not acceptable on that part of the beach - in front of Shore Pointe. Or did the sign get removed? Thought it was just acceptable on the other beaches? Just curious.

Shore Pointe has a fair amount of nude, not as much as the other beaches there.
We are textiles and always feel welcome at any of the beaches. Looking forward to hanging out with Dany and enjoying sunsets there. When Shore Pointe has sand and pools behind the rocks we are in heaven, unfortunately the last few trips we have not had many of those perfect days.
I prefer the Isle seat

There is no legal nude on the entire Dutch side of the island. The typical " rules for you, not for me crowd" abuse it at will...just because.

I have been going to the island for over 20 years and Cupecoy has been CO the entire time of my visits. No clue why anybody should have an issue with that at this point in time, lots of other beaches if CO bothers you.
I prefer the Isle seat

No clue why anybody should have an issue with that at this point in time, lots of other beaches if CO bothers you. It is still not legal. I agree with SXMBND . Just because it has been that way, doesn't mean it is right.

Why should I go elsewhere to enjoy a legal activity?

Wonder how long we are going to dispute this silly issue? 40+ years ago I asked someone in Phillipsburg how to get to Orient Beach. She gave me directions and asked if I wanted to see nude or be nude? I responded "both". She said, "you will have a wonderful day at Orient Beach". Let's move on.

I can't help myself but here goes. Is it legal to park in no parking area, is it legal to drive like crazy, either in USA or SXM. I agree with Carol, if they cared they would do something, in USA or SXM.
Prior to anything being built in the area it was what it was than as in now.
