Hi, Coming to the island in two weeks and will be bringing our daughter and son-in-law and 5 month old granddaughter. I was thinking about visiting Petite Plage because I *think* it's calmer than many of the other beaches. Does GCBC rent chairs to people not staying at the resort?

I believe they only used to rent chairs to non-guests on the restaurant side. Not sure what they do now, but with the construction still on going, I would call first to make sure what the situation is. Of course, all beaches are public, so even if you couldn't rent chairs, you could still use the beach.

What is the cost of two chairs and an umbrella? Is there a toilet close by? Parking for guests not staying at the resort is on property or elsewhere?

I don't know the cost for chairs, or even if it's a possibility, but I would imagine you would need to park on the street and walk in ,as parking right now is very limited due to the construction. There is a sign for the restaurant that non-guests need to park in the street.

Parking is on the street. Chairs were $20 for two last December.

ditto to what GaKaye posted. However, with construction things may have changed. Go to their web site and post any questions you might have. You might even consider a short stay there (not a full week) since they've reduced prices during construction. Then you could park inside and utilize their free water sports. Parking is at a minimum on that street so you should consider arriving very early and NOT on a Sunday because that's when all the locals seem to use that beach.
There's a restaurant on the beach (not cheap) , and restrooms at left of the restaurant.

I thought the chairs were two for $25 USD but don't recall, it is a great place to spend a day and have lunch. Certainly in our favorites, top 5.
I prefer the Isle seat
