Hello All,
We visited St. Martin last year and had a great time with a stay up by Oyster Pond. This year we booked a condo in Sandy Ground, across the street from Nettle Bay Beach Club facing Simpson Bay Lagoon. Any thoughts on this area? I have read of issues on Sandy Ground towards Marigot but we are staying at the last condo units heading out of Sandy Ground towards Baie Rouge. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

We stayed at the Hommage Hotel in Sandy Ground when our flight was cancelled. It was a real gem and paid for by Jet Blue. The whole island seems to have some problems with crime here and there. It is just being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Be aware of your surroundings and don’t flash money or jewelry in public.
