Secret Seafood House has reopened under new management. It is currently open Tuesday thru Sunday from 5pm to 10pm with happy hour from 5pm to 7pm.
They have plans to open for lunch in the near future. #19 Simpson Bay Rd, around behind the police station near the drawbridge.

Is Ziggy still at Simpson Bay Resort?

Yes Carol, Ziggy will still be working at SBR during the day and at Secret Seafood House in the evenings. He announced this on his FB page on Oct 3rd. He's quite the entertainer and have enjoyed him at SBR many times.

They had been closed since early to mid June. They continuously posted on their Facebook page that it was due to the load shedding but it was obvious that they had other issues. It is a nice location and they put a lot of time and effort in to fixing it up. I hope under new management that things go well for them and that they make it a success.

Ziggy was always our favorite waiter when he worked at Pineapple Pete's.

Yes. They stated load shedding and a delay in getting a back up generator.

Scuba--I would imagine generators are fairly scarce on SXM these days. I can't imagine any business being able to be open without one this past summer.

Exactly. That's the reason they gave for the closing. Hopefully they have one now.
