Any good tips for places with vegetarian or vegan options that isn't just a pizza? As in dishes that are actually plant and grain heavy? I adapted a stricter plant based diet this year for heart health reasons (and its working, LDL cholesterol down 100 points!).

We'll be going the last week in November / first week in Dec and spending half the trip in Orient bay.

I've found most places have a vegetarian section on their menu, especially in Grand Case.

Joa Beach in Orient has a vegan burger

Jungle Room at Loterie Farm has a veggie Gyoza.

In Porto Cupecoy there's a place but I can't remember the name. It's on the left when you first enter the courtyard. Food is mostly things like Kibe, humas, grape leaves.

And there's a small grocery store after the causeway on way to Marigot called MONOPRIX with lots of options, some take away and some to cook yourself.

Just saw on FB this morning that Bistrot Caraibes in Grand Case is catering to vegetarians/vegans. In addition to there regular menu. I'm sure you'd be in for a treat there as all of their food is excellent.

If you get to the Dutch side, you can't go wrong at Ital's. I believe it is vegan.
