So when we landed yesterday we were the ONLY big jet there. We pulled up allmost to terminal. No jetway but a very short walk. We entered the terminal, we're immediately ushered to bypass the chicane (I guess because of my cane) and straight to the booth and through, passed baggage claim, we had all carry-on an the.passed customs without being asked a question and out to the parking lot. It couldn't have more then 10 minutes.

Sounds great! I'm trying to decide for our next trip if we should take carry-on or checked luggage. I think you made my decision. Last visit we had carry on and hubby in wheel chair-. Juggling the carry-on was awkward. I was thinking he could use a cane and I could drag checked luggage this time.

Keep posting your adventure so I can live vicariously.

Had you completed the new entry form? Or is that not in effect yet?

Tim, I saw where they had taken the site down because of technical problems.

"I was thinking he could use a cane and I could drag checked luggage this time."
Why do that when you can pay a porter to put your luggage on a dolly and take it to your shuttle or vehicle waiting for you. I do that every time I arrive and depart. They are readily available in the baggage area and entrance to departures.

Thanks Scuba; never thought of that. Last year, as I said we had a wheelchair. Then upon departure Leslie's (Kenny's car rental.) wife had us bring the car into the "Only taxies" area and drop the car to her. She had a porter waiting. After conversation we discovered he was the son of one of the maid's at BSV. That maid is so petit and her son so tall that he should play pro basketball.
