Just booked a trade into RP through RCI for late November. In order to save money on airfare we need an extra night prior to our reservation. Does anyone have email contact info for RP Reservations management? I would rather work directly with the property instead of just booking a room through the Hilton website. That way we will hopefully be able to stay in the same room for our entire stay instead of the potential need to change rooms after the 1st night.
I have a phone number but would rather have a paper trail of email communication.
Thanks!!

Jerry--I would assume, without knowing, that if you make a reservation by phone, they would send an email confirmation to you.

Phone number is 1-721-544-3737. I would try calling. After Irma and the rebuild and Hilton taking over, I don't know that old email contacts would work. I have some old ones but don't have access to them right now. Actually, there is a call back feature on the website. No idea if it would work but you might try. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the feature. https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/sxmrogv-hilton-vacation-club-royal-palm-st-maarten/

Here's how it all worked out. Royal Palm requested that I make the additional night reservation at Hilton.com. They are unable to make or take reservations over the phone. Once I did that I had, I had to call back with the confirmation number from Hilton and the confirmation number from RCI. They were then able to link the two so we MAY not have to move after our 1st night. They did not guarantee that moving will not happen after the 1st night. The probability is low according to the reservations assistant.

I would stay on them. We too were looking for an extra night, to match up with our RCI week. We had to fly in a day earlier (to save a lot of money on flights). So we had a room and were actually given an upgrade at Royal Palm. We thought ....wow , thats awesome. Very happy, settled in, etc. Then the next day as we were coming back from breakfast at the yacht club and heading out for groceries, we were told we had to move that day! Was not happy, as we had totally unpacked a lot and already had some supplies in fridge, etc. So,,,whatever you do, make sure you talk to a manager or someone to confirm everything. I have always loved the Royal Palm, but last couple of experiences, I had to really follow up and ask a lot of questions. maybe just unreliable staff at front desk? Not sure. But it is a great place to stay if these little issues stay away. Have a wonderful vacation.

I would never take for granted that I'd be able to stay in the same rom with extra nights unless I had a written reservation confirmation stating as such.

I got a call from RP yesterday. They wanted to confirm our itinerary. Was told that they will continue to work on making sure we do not have to move after the 1st night. I also requested that they assign us to the west wing of the property. This should keep the late night sounds from Nowhere Special at a bearable level in the evening. It also allows us to have a cocktail on the balcony before dinner as it should be somewhat shaded at that time. Still hoping for the best.
