Is St Maarten considering a new entry form to speed up the time it takes to clear.

I arrive on Oct 9th. Is it required?

Someone correct me if they have better info, but from my understanding it isn't required but if you don't submit the form you have to go through one of the staffed checkpoints like today. If you submit the form then you are able to use the automated entry gates as long as everything is in order.

Looks like you can fill it out a week in advance online and is mandatory.

I wonder when the form will become available. It's not yet.

If they claim it will be available a week before arrival, I would assume Oct 1.

Aruba has a similar ED Card to be filled out within 7 days before departure

"GREAT" more EFFEN paperwork!! As if the paperwork we had to have during covid wasn't enough!!!

Looking forward to comments from those using the smxentry.com website as it becomes available tomorrow. We arrive on Oct. 10th so cannot use it until Oct. 3rd.

I'll be giving it a try tomorrow, as we arrive Oct 8--Mother Nature willing. We will act as guinea pigs and let the rest of you know.

What?🤔 Tomorrow is the 1st. Not ready till the 3rd.

The way I understand it is the form will be ready on Oct 8th which is 7 days from the opening of the new arrivals hall on Oct 15th. The entry form serves no purpose until the new machines are in place, which is October 15h

Sorry, that was for me. It is a Texas-Oklahoma football rivalry saying that is not proper for this forum. You would have to be from Texas or Oklahoma to know what Cruzer meant. If you were ever in Dallas for the Texas-Oklahoma football game that we call the Red River Rivalry you would hear it a lot.
