I was checking ferry options and see out of Spanish town a ferry leaving at 8:30 into trellis Bay but only a ferry from Road town to Charlotte Amelie at 11:30 AM. Is that the only option? (Sunday)

We frequently leave VG on a Sunday and it's the day with the least options. I assume you are trying to make a flight? If so, what time? We usually end up on the 6AM out of VG for an afternoon flight. We then take the 10AM over to STT. Don't underestimate the amount of time it takes to get from Tortola, through customs and then to the airport!

Unfortunately, there are no ferries from VG to Road Town on Sundays. Only Beef Island. And the Tola to STT ferries only leave from Road Town.
So, you will have to ferry from VG to Beef Island, than get a taxi from Beef Island to Road Town, where you can then catch the ferry from Road Town to STT.
For the VG to Beef Island ferry, there are 6:00am, 8:30am, 10:30am.
For the Road Town to STT ferry, I am seeing ferries running at 7:30am, 10:00am, 11:30am and 3:30pm.
I would be comfortable taking the 8:30am ferry to Beef to catch the 10:00am ferry to STT.
I would not be comfortable taking the 10:30am from VG to catch the 11:30 to STT

I agree- the 8:30 will have you pulling into Trellis by 9Am and then it's about 35 minutes to RT (taxi) so you could catch the 10AM if all goes well. If you miss it you can always go have breakfast at Capriccio Di Mare and hop the 11:30. Not having a flight to worry about makes it all so much better! If you do decide to try for the 10AM it's best to have a driver arranged. I have a great one if you want. As VG resident says, you can't do it with an hour between ferries.

I definitely second having a driver arranged ahead of time to meet you at Trellis Bay off the ferry from VG.
