Our favorite St Maarten destination...
Anyone currently visiting that can update following recent Ernesto visit and also update on the daily load shedding with GEBE ? Many thanks!

GEBE's latest excuse on their Facebook page says "We would like to inform the community that we are currently experiencing ongoing issues with our seawater engines. Our team is actively working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. As a result of these challenges, some areas will experience power outages as we balance the load. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time." Whatever.
Hopefully BSV has no damage, although not sure how much sand there is at the moment.

I remember a post recently about some foundation being exposed and 10 or 12 foot distance between water and buildings. As I recall.
