It could go south of SXM or could go north of SXM but still watching to see where this wave is heading.

Prepare now some computer models showing a at 4 hitting SXM on Tuesday…

I, for one, do not look at it a pessimism. Instead I look at it as informative.

Greetings,
This morning's NOAA NHC forecast calls for the storm to develop into a tropical depression as it passes over the islands.

Tropical Storm for Tuesday on SXM but still take precautions and do not walk on the boardwalk in Philipsburg if there is lightning. Stay safe!

Anyone on island be careful of torrential rainfall and stay off the roads when/if they come.

Lake Beacon Hill was there yesterday but Mullet was surprisingly dry. I can only imagine what it will be like after tomorrow.

I was surprised that they would still be closed on Wednesday. Of course, things could change.

We are having to extend time here on island because American flight was tomorrow afternoon. Getting through to American was nightmare. Finally, got daughter to deal with it. She thinks we are on flight on 18 th but no confirmation on my app, yet. Anybody scheduled on flight tomorrow who had easy time rescheduling? Ernesto may be far enough south of island to make some of this overreaction- hope so, anyway.

According to Stom Carib, the closest point of approach for SXM is 6:30 this evening. One would think the airport should be able to reopen sometime tomorrow. But I guess we'll see. Everyone stay safe!
