We were supposed to fly from Jacksonville to Miami this afternoon and on to St. Maarten tomorrow. Our Jacksonville flight got cancelled. We are scrambling trying to figure out how to get to the island. I suspect anyone trying to get to Miami is having the same issue.

Can you drive to Miami? Or get to where you can catch the train to Miami??

A drive to Miami is under consideration. But for us it is a 9 hour drive....under good conditions.

I would just assume the flight tomorrow is not happening but try and get on a MIA-SXM flight Tuesday if possible! Goodluck, hopefully AA (guessing that airline) will assist you if necessary.

We drove to Miami today. Flying to the island tomorrow.....only one day late. Would not be happy except for the fact that we are staying three plus weeks.

Jeff--I was one of the ones who told him to drive in the first place. He had issues because his flight was cancelled.

Glad you made it and enjoy your vacation. Debby is still causing problems and will be up our way on Saturday. Vermont has had terrible flooding and we really do not need anymore rain.
