We are supposed to be flying out of Miami this weekend to St. Croix, not to SXM. However, I figure there are others here that are supposed to fly into SXM this weekend. Anyone but me kind worried that Debbie is going to screw up our flights??
I notice Windy, which is usually pretty accurate, is no longer expecting significant strengthening of the system. We shall see. We are supposed to fly to Miami late Sunday and on to SXM Monday morning. Fingers crossed.
Sammy--best wishes. Hopefully it won't be a problem for either one of us. The thing is that there are a lot more options going to SXM than St. Croix, and the AA planes going to ST. Croix for the next week or so are basically almost full already, so if one or more gets cancelled, it could be dicey.
CaribLee--No one really seems to know what will happen with this thing, but my guess is that by Sunday, things will be fine in Miami. Best wishes.
Carol.....I think you are correct about leaving Miami on Monday morning. My bigger concern is our flight out of Jacksonville on Sunday evening. Hopefully, all goes well.
Glad you made it. We fly Jacksonville to Miami tomorrow afternoon and then on to St. Maarten Monday morning. If we can get out of Jacksonville tomorrow we should be fine.
