Rain thunder and lightning on the way to Maho to pick up something at the pharmacy. Stopped in time for drinks at Driftwood. Outstanding rum punch as usual for me and wife never had a sex on the beach so what's a guy to do. She liked it so much she had a second one. Getting close to lunch time and I wanted to drop off something for Emilio at D's and remembered it was taco Tuesday so stayed for lunch. Rain was threatening so headed back to Flamingo when it came down in buckets. Feel sorry for new arrivals having to use the stairs.

Why do they have to use the stairs? Power problems again?

Elizabeth--ever since Irma, there are no jetbridges at SXM, to disembark airplanes. SOME planes currently have jetbridges to board airplanes.

I am thinking he is referring to using stairs to deplane in the rain?

No jetways for arrivals yet. It's either stairs or a ramp. All exposed to prevailing weather conditions. Been that way since Irma.
