I know, it is not my first rodeo, it was "tongue in cheek".

We have all observed the comings and the goings of the sand with the accompanying exposure of the boulders. It often seems miraculous that the beach returns to its pristine high-sand level. So I know the beach will be back soon. But I share your wonder, J.D., that those boulders look like no amount of sand could cover them sufficiently to make that beach comfortable. Their formation appears to be so highly-stacked and reach so far as to make it impossible for the returning sand to cover them without overflowing onto the road. Maybe it is the camera's angle, but it still looks impossible.

There were some very rogue swells around Friars and Happy Bays early Tuesday morning. The swells seemed to be coming in a 90° angle to the regular wave action. The water looked fairly calm from a distance but the shore was being slammed about every 2 or 3 minutes with a large swell between the smaller ones. These pics don’t do the situation justice but it’s a small example. My wife took the ones looking down at Happy from above and we ventured down about 7:30 am to get a closer look. There used to be a big ledge of sand on the right side of Happy Bay beach (looking towards the water) and now it’s gone and flattened out and large one was built on the left hand side now.
…and a long lens look at the Multiverse Yacht that was anchored around La Belle Creole area.
