Allegedly, according to GEBE

I found it interesting that some hotels are agreeing to disconnect from the grid for periods of time. I could not find the additional story referring to that in the paper.

Looks to be a lot of the same information, but definitely a different link. Hopefully it will happen as stated.

I just wonder if GEBE will reimburse the resorts that have agreed to cut off power to use their Generators. Diesel isn't cheap.

That is an interesting situation, but I very much doubt it. GEBE certainly isn't reimbursing anyone who has a generator now, for their fuel use during load shedding. I wonder if they will still be subject to the normal load shedding, or whether they will just have specific times when their power is cut every day. That would be my pure guess, that they will just have specific times when they will be on generator.

I'm not sure you will even notice, but perhaps they will issue some statement to those staying there.

Since I am scheduled to arrive on August 5, that would be perfect timing. One can hope.

That's good news. I forgot to mention in my reports, we lost power for what seemed like a few seconds one morning in Orient Village.
