Happy Tuesday TTOL BVI Friends:

I am happy to report we just booked our annual excursion to BVI for Oct 30 to Nov 6 2024 on a Sunsail 464.

The round trip airfare BWI to EIS is under $600 round trip. Board the aircraft 620am and emerge blinking in the Tortola sun by 130pm! That is a great, low duration flight!

We had given up on flying to EIS because it was cost prohibitive compared to flying to STT and taking the ferry. Not this year!

Very pleasantly surprised as well at the cost of the charter. Down a solid 30% from last year. Perhaps it is the timing of our booking, but just wanted to share some happy news!

See you in October- hopefully Loyal West End will host a Cat Fight this year- Catatonic, are you copying this?

Fair winds and following seas to all-

I don't know what type of boat you have been on in the past but I think the charter price is probably less because the last of the Lagoons (which is what the 464 is) in the fleet are on the older side and getting ready to come out of charter. Not necessarily a bad thing but you would probably pay a thousand more for the newer Leopard 454L during the same time. Also, the time of year is financially advantageous. You would pay more than double for the Lagoon in high season. Glad it worked well financially for you and should be a great time to go!

Sounds like we have a similar schedule. Our group arrives Oct. 31, off the dock Nov 1st thru 8th on a Bali 5.4, Ne Plus Ultra. Will look for you out there. We need those TTOL flags.
