I found the story in the Daily Herald, although not in the online edition. Grisha Heylinger-Martin said that the PJIA management assured HER that the building would be completed by October. ...of course, these are the same folks who have said numerous times before that the airport would be done by "x" date. We shall see.

Lesley, You're a really good guy and people love you!! But this one??? As other poster have said. We shall see what we shall see!! We have been hearing deadlines for YEARS!! What I don't get is the azz backwards way they have gone about this!!! Why not start with arrivals?? We've been sitting for HOURS in a plane and now you want to cram us in a hot smelly sticky bus only to drop us off in more hot sticky outside to wait! And wait!!! IMHO, the last few years departure wasn't all that bad! But this arrival thing?? That is AZZ BACKWARDS!!!

That assumes zero impact from what promises to be an "extraordinary" hurricane season. The building has been built as a fortress against storms; I hope that doesn't need to be tested.
