One of our crew is going to run out of their Rx medicine in about a week. Can anyone tell me if there is a pharmacy that their Dr. in the U.S. can send their perscription so she can pick it up?

Our first choice is Marigot. Failing that we will be staying at Divi in Sint Maarten.

Thanks for any information.

I have gotten a refill of a US Rx by showing the pharmacist at Simpson Bay Pharmacy my Rx bottle. Didn't need to involve MD in the US. I just asked for an amount to tide me over until back in the US.

We have gotten meds at both Simpson Bay and Maho pharmacies. they both are fantastic to deal with. They will fill a prescription within minutes....not hours. Also will help with any questions when not feeling well. the pharmacists on the island have a lot more leeway than the american pharmacists do.

Why Marigot if staying at Divi??? Why not pharmacy right in Phillipsburg? You have a few options right in town. And Simpson Bay and Maho. Doesn’t sound like you have left yet, why not have doc do a “vacation” refill before you leave

Thank you all for trying to help. The situation was that a refill at home was not accomplished in time due to Memorial Day. We chartered a boat out of Marigot, and after our trip we had a room at Divi Little Bay for a few days. It would have been all sorted out and we would have had her Rx delivered to Marina Fort St. Louis when we got back, but the pharmacy back home sent us someone else's Rx!!! We ended up getting a pharmacy in Phillipsburg to provide the medicine, where it was actually over the counter!

Oh well, our pharmacy back home made it all right afterwards, even paying us back for the FedEx delivery!
