Sitting at the airport waiting for a flight that will never arrive. The 787 flight from JFK is cancelled. Do you think JB would really send an empty plane at 10:30 pm to arrive back in New York at 2:30 the next day? I don’t think so. They are BS and telling us a flight will come and get us.

Dunno. Sounds crappy to me. Sounds like they should just announce it's rescheduled for tomorrow morning. Please post an update when you can.

Sorry that’s happening… we’ve had more than our share of “are we getting out of here tonight or not” moments. Are there a lot of passengers? I did some poking around and there is a JetBlue flight about to land in St Kitts and turnaround back to JFK. A total guess, but maybe they have enough seats for the SXM passengers and are making a stop on the way back. Flight 296 is the inbound from jfk and 297 is the return.

788 is canceled on the JetBlue site now.

Brought by a bus to a hotel in Sandy Ground and hopefully an earlier flight scheduled for tomorrow.

Weather was wicked this morning. NYC had ground stops I think until noon. But that doesn’t make sense why 787 and 788 wouldn’t still fly later - unless crew issues and timing out

Staying at Hommage, dinner on JB. Hopefully flying out tomorrow.

Good Morning! Hommage Hotel is a hidden gem. Jet blue paid for the room and dinner, breakfast with a voucher.

I think that location has been many different "hotels" like Mercure/Marriott, glad its acceptable!

Did you by chance eat at Mezza Luna for dinner? Remember having a very nice Italian lunch a while back at that place.

Is the hotel on the lagoon or on the ocean?

No I did not get any pics of the room. The room was exceptionally clean. I would give it a five star for comfort and cleanliness. The food was also excellent.

Looks pretty good, although I personally would have liked more potatoes! Do you have a flight time scheduled yet?

Flight leaving at 12:25 unless I have a medical emergency and jet off the island.

That is the former Mercure Hotel in Nettle Bay. Air Transat used to do all inclusive vacations there a few years ago.

Arrived alive… now driving back to Vermont.
