After a long morning workout at the gym and a Bloody Mary in the room we sondered to the pool for the afternoon. Had dinner at Mark's and they really came through. Mussels for me with pasta instead of fries and everyone else got the grilled snapper. All was perfect. Tomorrow is Ds Beach Bar and dinner at La Trattoria in Orient Village.

Mark's is tough to beat for overall value, quality and variety.

I think the ribs have gone up a little but not substantially. In March a couple of menu items had stickers over the prices with prices written on them so I took that to mean there had been a price adjustment. If I recall correctly, the menu does indicate a service charge will be added but if the server recognizes you from previous visits or you are local or with a local, it is not added.

We have never had a service charge at Mark’s and have been going for at least 15 years.

Mark's prices are still probably the best on the island!! The food there has always been consistently delicious and decent service, as long as you don't want a ''fast'' meal. In all the years of going to Mark's, have never felt a ''price increase''. Still for under twenty bucks for most things, it is the best deal in town.

What is the dress code for La Trattoria and do you need a reservation? Thanks!

I made reservations. Dress is what you'd wear to a nice island restaurant. Island style.
