I believe it is because there was an order to remove debris. Now that the Copropriété de la Baie Orientale (aka "Club Orient") has an Administrator appointed by the courts, he is charged with getting things in order and complying with the order to remove debris seems obvious. There are comments to that effect on the post on SXM Naturism group on Facebook which is where I think these photos or similar were posted yesterday.

JDK--thanks for the info. What does that mean, having an administrator appointed by the Courts? Do you know? To me, any action at all, even to remove debris, is wonderful news!

Long overdue for something, even demolition of debris, to begin. Let the construction begin
