I love this new cam. Its positioned perfectly to see Maho Beach and the airport.

It is located/sponsored by Tortuga Maho Cafe. Why have I never heard of or seen this place? Is it any good? Looks like a great location. Is there any parking?

dolfer--this webcam has been posted here before, but I agree it is a good addition. I prefer it to Sunset webcam.

As far as Tortuga, we've never eaten there. I think the perception is that it is mostly frequented by those who stay in the Maho area. No parking, except the garage.

Parking sucks but the food, at least the last time we were there, was pretty good. We enjoy breakfast there and can usually find convenient parking but later in the day it’s hard and the garage is usually our choice.

Respectfully,

pat

Tortuga has good food and one of the best views on the island. We generally eat there our first night on the island.

We had a good breakfast there a few weeks ago.
Would definitely go back, it's just there are so many good breakfasts places, but not enough with
decaf coffee.

A favorite is always SMYC, but we usually stop first and bring coffee. The second time we stopped
we forgot our coffee, but asked for 2 cups of hot water, so I could use my own decaf teabag and were
charged $6 for the water.

Tortuga has been around for well over thirty years, although now run by different people for the last four or five years. It has always been poolside at the Royal Islander LaPlage. It is open to the public. Decent food, higher prices but a fantastic view.
