It is with heavy hearts we announce that all good things must come to an end.
The Rendez-Vous Bar is being listed for sale.
Heather and I thank you for all your love and support over the last 3 years. We love you all.

I surely hope that this will NOT be the end of the wonderful Jazz Brunch Sundays.

This is not Rendez Vous Lounge in Porto Cupecoy, correct?

indi--I assumed it was. I am not aware of another Rendezvous Lounge on SXM.

Not seeing anything online about a closing and Rendez Vous has been around 10 years in Porto Cupecoy, which makes me think this may be a different place.
They just announced new Happy Hours.

The announcement said it was being listed for sale, not closed. Dunno.

Rendez-vous Lounge in Porto Cupecoy is for sale. The business has been running for over 9 years. The asking price is $495k.

On another note, Izi restaurant is also up for sale. It has been up and running since 2009. Asking price, $395k.

Is Izi the one that Jeff Berger has been breathlessly reporting (without naming the restaurant), that has been for sale for months?

That and maybe NOLA? Seems like
Major changes there as well - already - but stay tuned on that one!!!

Yeah, for sure. NOLA didn't last too long before it imploded.

I wouldn't start that rumor unless you know some facts. It was the owners decision to change the management and replace Jimbo.

Not starting any rumor. And has nothing to do with Jimbo. I’ve spoken to him about his situation. NOLA is closed until fall with big changes. and yes I am aware of “some facts” but not at liberty to state them as not public as far as I am aware. Jeff Berger has the inside track on both properties and that is why I mentioned NOLA - he likes to keep people guessing and wondering until his big reveal.

This is Nathalie Schoenher Owner of Rendez Vous Lounge just wanted to confirm that rdv lounge of Porto Cupecoy is not closing and is not for sale. we are opened since 2010 and i welcome everyone to our famous Jazz Lunch every Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm and everyday we are open for breakfast lunch and dinners (no thursday dinner) and friday nights we have alfredo performing 6:30-9:30 at porto cupecoy

Hi Carol, I ran into Shelly and Nathalie at Mario's today for lunch and asked Nathalie about what I'd read here. She has no partners in her business, and as she says above, has no plans to close or sell Rendezvous. (If you know Nathalie, you know RDV is her passion and her life). There must be another Rendezvous on the Dutch side, where Heather is someone's partner.
To confirm, Rendezvous Lounge in Porto Cupecoy is open, alive and well!
