Is Mosquito Milk the best bug repellant? Cost? Where can it be purchased? Roll On?

The 'best' of anything is usually in the mind and the experience of the individual but having used MM in both roll on and spray form, I still prefer my Deet-based Deep Woods Off towelettes, but both are very effective products, IMHO, and in both cases I believe their effectiveness is due to the high levels of Deet in them.
We've seen MM all over the place so I doubt you'll have any difficulty finding it on the island. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Its deet-based like most effective mosquito repellants and it won't work better or worse than them. What I like about mosquito milk is that it doesn't smell like kerosene or perfume....somewhat pleasant smelling. Also the roll-on version makes applying cleaner as there is no overspray to worry about.

I'm with you Pat; love the Deep Woods Off towelettes. They're convenient to bring along, easy to use with no mess, the feel is dry, and the smell isn't unpleasant. The only problem I had with them is that they melted my nail polish!

I do gel manis and haven't had that problem, but the packets will eventually evaporate if you don't use them in a reasonable timeframe. But as you said, they aren't messy nor do they have an obnoxious odor, and you can use them without concern for overspray, etc. I always have at least one packet in my wallet jic.

I have used them both and both were very effective. The towelettes are convenient and easily carried and can be used discretely. The Mosquito Milk in the roll on is great to carry in the glove compartment of the car and use just before going out. I like to leave it in the car so I know it is always there if I need it as sometimes I might forget to take the towelettes or need to apply a larger dose depending on the surroundings.

As long as the lotion has deet in it it will do that depending on the strength of the Deet.
