Another cloudy/rainy day. Had a delicious, lazy lunch at Be Kool at Marina Royale. That pretty much canceled out any dinner plans as we were stuffed! The girls hit Dany’s for happy hour. Currently by the pool at RI as our unit is not ready. The sun is finally out and we are FINALLY getting some color!
I’ll check back in later regarding ac situation, however, the girl at the desk says it is slowly cooling and should be fine this evening.

The ac is definitely working! It is by no means frigid, but you can definitely feel the coolness. I think it will be fine. We each have a fan in our bedroom, so I will definitely use mine (I like to sleep “cold”) but my friend doesn’t think she will use hers!
On another note, this whole situation definitely stressed out Nina and her staff. I’m embarrassed at some of the entitlement I witnessed today with guests checking in/out. Not particularly due to the ac, but just general rudeness. People really need to drop their attitude. It’s not the staff’s fault if your flight was shitty or your room isn’t ready when you arrive! They really try their best here!
Rant over!
And Carol, Wendy said Be Kool fries are the best she has had here, and I agree 😀,

Jeanne--glad the a/c is working.
You don't know people's whole story, but if it were me, checking out, after 4 days with no a/c, I'd be pretty grumpy. As far as checking in, again, travelling these days is a pure PITA, 95% of the time.
Thanks for the fry report!!!!

Nina and staff are wonderful. I am sure they were pretty stressed out during the entire time with people yelling at them their entire shifts. They addressed two major problems in the same week, and even being on an island got the replacement equipment, shipped to the island, and installed within five days. For island time, that is HUGE. Look how long the airport has been ''under construction''. Kudos to Royal Islander. sidenote, when we left last week, everything was working. what a difference three days made.
