The waters here in Simpson Bay are calm and there's barely a hint of breeze. Many would think that this is the perfect combination for being on a boat in the anchorage. Unfortunately, there is a still a small base swell and it can make life uncomfortable aboard at times. Right now I feel like I'm sitting in my living room on land, but 5 minutes ago the wind pushed the boat sideways to the incoming swell and the harmonics had
Zanshin rolling from beam to beam, knocking over a cup in the galley. Despite all my complaints, it is still nice to be here at anchor.
